2010 Bell Capital Cup - Ottawa International Atom and Peewee Hockey Tournament - December 30th, 2009 to January 3rd, 2010
From December 30th. 2009 to January 3rd, 2010 ottawa holds it's annual International Atom and Peewee Hockey Tournament. The Bell Capital Cup consists of 500 teams of Atom and Peewee age groups of 9, 10, 11 and 12 year olds. Ther are boys and girls divisions, competitive and house league teams. Teams compete for the Allen J. MacDonald Memorial Championship Trophy which is rewarded to each division in the tournament. Teams are guaranteed three (3) games for AA, A, B, and house divisions, and four (4) games for AAA divisions.

Ottawa Winterlude 2010 - February 5th to 21st 2010
Ottawa Winterlude is an annual winter event mostly outdoor event for the whole family to enjoy. Kids will love the snow slides at Jacques Cartier Park in Hull-Gatineau. Take the free busses provided on weekends from downtown Ottawa. Skate on the world's longest skating rink on the Rideau Canal Skateway. Visit the ice sculptures across the street from City hall, try a beavertail, a hot chocolate at local concessions and warm up at one of the fire pits on the canal when you are skating.

Saint Patrick's Day Parade - Saturday March 15

The parade starts on Saturday March 15th at 11:00 am and starts at City Hall and Finishes at lansdown park at approximately 1:00pm featuring a host of floats, merrrymakers and St. Patrick himself.
